A proposed building in Hong Kong
Architects are often overly ambitious in their proposals, since after all, they are just imaginative starting places for the most part. Most will never be built. But this new tower proposed for Hong Kong by Mexico City-based Studio Cachoua Torres Camilletti might just be the craziest yet.
Connected via precariously angled bridges, the futuristic proposal features a huge sheet of glass on one side, a “green wall dripping with flowers” on another, rice paddies and a fish farming facility on the roof, according to Curbed.
The building would also harvest wind energy through a dozen wind turbines, providing mass transit and provide sustainable housing. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
